Ingredients

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt.

  2. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and comes to a boil.

  3. Once it boils, reduce the heat and let it simmer for another 1-2 minutes, continuing to stir.

  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. Pour the mixture into serving bowls or ramekins and let it cool completely.

  6. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
