Ingredients
- 8 corn tortillas
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Salt, to taste
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
- 2 tomatoes, charred and diced
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut each tortilla into quarters to create triangle-shaped chips.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep saucepan over medium-high heat.

Fry the tortilla chips in batches until crispy and golden brown. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt.

In a bowl, mash the avocados with a fork until smooth. Stir in the lime juice, diced onion, chopped cilantro, and minced jalapeno. Season with salt to taste.

To make the charred tomato salsa, place the tomatoes on a hot grill or directly over an open flame until charred. Let them cool, then dice and combine with diced red onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
