Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef brisket
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).

Season the brisket with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.

In a large skillet, sear the brisket on all sides until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

Add the beef broth, tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, dijon mustard, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir until well combined.

Place the brisket in a large baking dish and pour the sauce over it.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 3 to 3 1/2 hours, or until the brisket is tender.

Remove the foil and continue baking for another 30 minutes, or until the sauce is thickened and the brisket is caramelized.

Let the brisket rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Serve the brisket with the sauce spooned over the top.
