- 2 cups brown rice
- 2 ½ cups water
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Nori seaweed, for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Rinse the brown rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a rice cooker or pot, combine the brown rice and water. Let it soak for 30 minutes.

Cook the rice according to the manufacturer’s instructions for a rice cooker or on the stovetop.

In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.

When the rice is cooked, let it sit for 5 minutes. Then, drizzle the sauce over the rice and gently mix it in.
