How To Make Dango Recipe
A traditional Japanese sweet treat made from rice flour dough and served with sweet soy sauce.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup of mochiko (sweet rice flour)
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the sweet rice flour and sugar.

Slowly add the water and knead the dough until it forms a smooth ball.

Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them into balls.

Boil a pot of water and drop the balls into the water.

Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the balls float to the top.

Remove the balls from the water and let them cool.

Thread the balls onto skewers.

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and sugar to make the dipping sauce.

Drizzle the sauce over the dango and serve.
