- 1/2 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder

- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup ice-cold water
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup carrot sticks
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine egg and ice-cold water.
- Dip beef and vegetables in the batter until coated.
- Heat oil in a large skillet or deep fryer.
- Fry beef and vegetables in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
