Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the buttermilk to the flour mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead lightly for about 1 minute, until the dough is smooth.

Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

Use a sharp knife to score an “X” on the top of the loaf.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
