Ingredients
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Water, as needed
- Oil, for spraying
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the chickpea flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.

Add the thinly sliced onions and cilantro to the bowl. Mix well until the onions are coated with the flour mixture.

Gradually add water to the mixture, a little at a time, until you achieve a thick batter consistency.

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.

Spray the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking.

Spoon small portions of the onion batter onto the air fryer basket, spreading them out evenly.

Cook the bhajis in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the air fryer and serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
