Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
-
Place the pork chops between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound them to a 1/4-inch thickness.
-
Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls – one filled with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, and paprika.
-
Dredge each pork chop in flour, then dip it into beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
-
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
-
Transfer the schnitzels to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
-
Serve the pork schnitzels hot, accompanied by lemon wedges for squeezing over the top. Enjoy!
