- 4 ripe bananas
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 2 cups milk
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 cup sugar
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and cornstarch over medium heat. Stir continuously until thickened and smooth.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks. Gradually whisk in the hot milk mixture.

Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat until it thickens into custard consistency, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Arrange the banana slices and pineapple chunks in individual serving dishes. Pour the custard over the fruits.

In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites until frothy. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.

Spoon the meringue over the custard and fruits, making sure to cover the entire surface.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the meringue is golden brown.
