Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 24 gyoza wrappers
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
-
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
-
Place a gyoza wrapper on a clean surface and spoon about 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture onto the center of the wrapper.
-
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water. Fold the wrapper in half over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
-
Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
-
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the gyoza and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown.
-
Pour water into the skillet and cover immediately. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the wrappers are translucent and the pork is cooked through.
-
Serve the gyoza hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.
