How To Make African Millet Porridge
A warm and comforting porridge made with millet and spices, perfect for a hearty breakfast or snack.

Ingredients
- 1 cup millet
- 3 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cardamom pods, crushed
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup milk
- Pinch of salt
Instructions

Rinse millet and put into a pot with water.

Add cinnamon stick, cardamom, ginger powder and salt.

Bring to boil then lower heat, cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until millet is cooked.

Remove cinnamon stick and cardamom pods then stir in honey and milk.

Serve hot, garnished with your choice of nuts or fresh fruit.
