How To Make Culver’s Wisconsin Swiss Melt Recipe
A mouthwatering sandwich filled with juicy beef patties, crispy bacon, melted Swiss cheese and sautéed onions.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 8 slices of Swiss cheese
- 4 thick slices of sourdough bread
- 4 tbsp. butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Form into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Add the sliced onions to the skillet and cook until caramelized. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the beef patties until browned and cooked through.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the bread slices butter-side down on a baking sheet. Top with a slice of Swiss cheese, a beef patty, two slices of bacon, and caramelized onions. Top with another slice of Swiss cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
- Serve hot.
