How To Make Coconut Oil and Turmeric Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse rice in a fine-mesh strainer and set aside.

  2. In a large saucepan, melt coconut oil over medium heat.

  3. Add turmeric and salt, stir to combine.

  4. Add rice and stir until evenly coated.

  5. Add water and bring to a boil.

  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes.

  7. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.

  8. Fluff with a fork before serving.
