How To Make Coconut Milk and Lime Sorbet Recipe

A refreshing summer sorbet with tropical flavors of coconut and lime.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (13.5 oz) of coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of fresh lime juice
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.

  2. In a blender, combine the cooled sugar syrup, coconut milk, lime juice, zest, and salt. Blend until smooth.

  3. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions, about 25-30 minutes.

  4. Transfer sorbet to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours.

  5. Scoop and serve garnished with additional lime zest.
