How To Make Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Creamy vanilla ice cream with chunks of chocolate chips that melt in your mouth.

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 30 minutes
Total: 40 minutes (+ freeze time)

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the cream, milk, sugar and vanilla extract until it’s almost boiling.

  2. Remove from the heat and let it cool down for a few minutes.

  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  4. During the last 5 minutes of churning, add in the chocolate chips.

  5. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
