Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the ground chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the rice, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and most of the water has been absorbed.

Remove from heat and let sit covered for an additional 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork and serving.
