Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

In a bowl, marinate the chicken pieces in yogurt, salt, and turmeric powder. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

Heat butter and oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan and cook for another minute.

In a small bowl, mix together garam masala, turmeric powder, paprika, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Add this spice mixture to the pan and cook for a minute until fragrant.

Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until the chicken is browned on all sides.

Stir in the tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

Season with salt to taste.

Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
