How To Make Chicken with Wine & Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and browned, about 5 minutes.

Pour in the white wine and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer.

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the flavors have melded together.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Stir in the butter until melted and the sauce has thickened slightly.

Serve the chicken with the mushroom-wine sauce poured over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley.
