Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced celery. Cook until the celery is tender, about 5 minutes.

Return the chicken to the skillet and add the apple cider, chicken broth, and thyme leaves. Bring to a simmer.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the flavors have melded together.
