- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces wild mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.

Cook the chicken breasts until they are browned on both sides and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and garlic. Cook until the mushrooms are browned and tender, about 5 minutes.

Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2 minutes, allowing the liquid to reduce slightly.

Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until heated through.
