Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.

  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.

  4. In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of oil and sear chicken thighs until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  5. Pour the maple Dijon mixture over the chicken thighs, cover the Dutch oven, and bake for 45 minutes.

  6. Remove the lid, and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy.
