How To Make Dutch Oven Apricot Glazed Chicken Recipe
Tender chicken with a sweet and tangy glaze.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup apricot preserves
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

In a small bowl, mix together the apricot preserves, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, honey, and garlic.

In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, add the olive oil.

Sear the chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Pour the glaze over the chicken and add the chicken broth to the Dutch oven.

Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover the Dutch oven.

Cook the chicken for 45-50 minutes until fully cooked and the glaze has reduced and thickened.

Serve the chicken with plenty of glaze spooned over the top.
