Tender chicken thighs cooked in a sweet and tangy orange glaze on a cast iron skillet.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.

In a small bowl, whisk together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.

Heat a 10-inch cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.

Brown the chicken skin-side down first for 5-6 minutes until golden.

Flip the chicken over and pour the orange glaze over it, spreading it around with a brush.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy.
