Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish
Instructions

In a bowl, marinate the chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.

Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a pan and sauté the marinated chicken until it turns golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the remaining butter and sauté the chopped onions until they turn translucent.

Add the tomato puree, garam masala, and dried fenugreek leaves to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Return the cooked chicken to the pan and mix well with the sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
