How To Make Canned Chicken and Vegetable Pasta Recipe

This pasta dish is a tasty and easy meal option that combines canned chicken and various vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz of pasta
  • 1 can of canned chicken
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1/2 cup of frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup of chopped onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp of dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp of dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp of onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions.

  2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the sliced red bell pepper, sliced zucchini, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Saute for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.

  4. Add the canned chicken into the pan and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  5. Pour in the chicken broth and add the frozen peas.

  6. Season with salt, black pepper, dried basil, dried oregano, and onion powder.

  7. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until everything is heated through.

  8. Add the cooked pasta into the pan with the chicken and vegetables.

  9. Toss everything together until the pasta is coated in the sauce.

  10. Serve, garnishing with cheese or a sprinkle of herbs if desired.
