How To Make Canned Chicken and Black Bean Quesadillas Recipe
A satisfying and easy dish featuring canned chicken and black beans in a crispy and cheesy tortilla.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 can of cooked chicken breast, drained
- 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup of salsa
- 1 tsp of chili powder
- 1/2 tsp of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine canned chicken, black beans, salsa, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Heat pan over medium heat and add vegetable oil.

Place 1 tortilla in the pan, sprinkle 1/2 cup of cheese on one half of the tortilla.

Spoon chicken and black bean mixture over the cheese and top with another 1/2 cup of cheese.

Fold the tortilla in half and press down with a spatula to flatten the quesadilla.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.

Cut into quarters and serve hot.
