How To Make Dutch Babies

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and place a cast iron skillet or oven-safe dish in the oven to heat up.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until light and frothy.

Add the milk, flour, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl with the eggs and whisk until well combined and smooth.

Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven and add the butter, swirling it around until melted and coating the bottom and sides of the skillet.

Pour the batter into the hot skillet and immediately return it to the oven.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until the Dutch Baby is puffed up and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and serve immediately, topping with your favorite toppings such as powdered sugar, fresh fruit, or maple syrup.
