Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- Zest of 1 orange
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp Grand Marnier
- 2 tbsp sugar (for caramelizing)
- Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Instructions
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, and melted butter until smooth and well combined.
-
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet and swirl it around to evenly coat the bottom. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to lift, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side. Repeat with the remaining batter.
-
In a small saucepan, heat the Grand Marnier over low heat until warmed through. Carefully light it with a long match or lighter to flambe it. Allow the flame to burn out naturally, then stir in the sugar until dissolved to create the caramel sauce.
-
To serve, fold the crepes into quarters and drizzle the caramel sauce over them. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
