How To Make Baked Oatmeal with Apples and Cinnamon
Treat your kids to a great morning with this sweet and filling baked oatmeal recipe tossed with apples and cinnamon for a surprising morning meal.

Ingredients
- 2 ⅓cupsOld Fashioned rolled oats
- 1tspbaking powder
- ½tspsalt
- 1 ½tspground cinnamon
- ¼tspground nutmeg
- 2large eggs
- 2cupsmilk
- ¼cupcoconut oilmelted
- 6tbspreal maple syrup
- ½tspvanilla extract
- 2 sweet apples2 crisp peeled and cored, 1/2-inch diced, such as Braeburn, Honey Crisp or Gala
- ¾cupwalnutschopped
- ½cupcranberriesdried
Instructions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a 9×9-inch or 2 quart casserole dish.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together oats, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs until well blended. Mix in milk, coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla.

Add oat mixture to milk mixture along with apples, walnuts, and about ⅔ of the cranberries and stir well.

Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle remaining ⅓ of the cranberries over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven until set for about 45 minutes. Serve warm.
