How To Make Apple Spice Quinoa Granola
Spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, this quinoa granola makes a flavorful snack! Whip up a healthy batch in just under one hour.

Ingredients
- 3cupsold fashioned rolled oats
- ½cupquinoa,uncooked
- 1cupalmonds
- 2tspground cinnamon
- ½tspground nutmeg
- ½tspground cloves
- ⅛tspsalt
- 1large apple,of any variety, peeled and diced
- ⅓cupcoconut oil,or vegetable oil, melted
- 1tsppure vanilla extract
- ½cupunsweetened applesauce
- ⅓cuppure maple syrup
- ¼cupdark brown sugar,packed
- ¾cupraisins
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Line two large baking sheets with silicone baking mats or parchment paper. Set aside.

In a large bowl, toss the oats, quinoa, almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt together until combined. Fold in the diced apple. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the oil, vanilla, applesauce, maple syrup, and brown sugar. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is moistened.

Spread onto 2 baking sheets and bake for 45 minutes, making sure to stir the granola every 10 to 15 minutes to prevent burning.

Allow the granola to cool for 20 minutes on the baking sheets. Then, pour them into a large bowl and add the raisins.

Recipe Notes
- Cover tightly and store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
- Granola will lose its crunch over time because of the apples.
