How To Make Easy Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 biscuits, homemade or store-bought
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside on a paper towel-lined plate.

In the same skillet, whisk in the flour, stirring constantly until it has absorbed all of the fat from the sausage.

Gradually whisk in the milk, continuing to stir constantly, until the mixture is smooth and thickened.

Add the cooked sausage back into the skillet and stir to combine.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Split the biscuits in half and place them on serving plates.

Spoon the sausage gravy over the biscuits and serve immediately.
