A delicious, sweet breakfast bread with a crunchy pecan topping.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, maple syrup, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Fold in chopped pecans.

Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.
