Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

Add warm milk and melted butter to the flour mixture. Mix until a sticky dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and place them on a greased baking sheet.

Cover the buns with the clean towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Brush the buns with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top (optional).

Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
