How To Make Sourdough Tortillas
A delicious and healthy alternative to regular tortillas, made with sourdough starter.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together the sourdough starter, flour, and salt.

Slowly add the water while kneading the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and roll them into balls.

Dust a work surface with flour and roll each ball into a thin, round tortilla shape.

In a dry skillet, cook each tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side or until they begin to lightly brown.
