Ingredients
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda.

Cut cold butter cubes into dry ingredients, to create crumb texture.

Add sourdough starter and milk, mix to make a dough.

Knead gently for a minute, pat out dough into 1-inch thickness.

Cut into triangle shapes, brush beaten egg on top.

Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.

Serve with butter, jam or cream.
