How To Make Sourdough Cinnamon Bread
A delicious and flavorful cinnamon bread made with sourdough starter.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup of active sourdough starter
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 4 cups of bread flour
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together the starter, milk, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Add in the flour, salt, and cinnamon and mix until the dough comes together.

Knead the dough for 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a towel.

Let the dough rest and rise for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.

Place the loaf into the greased pan and cover with a towel.

Let the dough rest and rise for another 30 minutes.

Bake the bread for 1 hour.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
