Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ teaspoons instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.

  2. Add the warm milk, warm water, and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a soft dough forms.

  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.

  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.

  5. Place the dough balls on a greased baking sheet and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let them rise for about 10 minutes.

  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  7. Bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.

  8. Remove the rolls from the oven and brush them with melted butter, if desired.

  9. Serve the rolls warm.
