How To Make Pear and Cardamom Bread
A deliciously dense bread with a delightful balance of sweet pear and warm cardamom spice.

Ingredients
- 2 ripe pears, peeled and finely diced
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cardamom, and salt. Set aside.

In a separate larger bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, oil, and milk.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing until just combined (avoid overmixing).

Fold in the diced pears.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Allow bread to cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
