This easy and delicious bread is a perfect combination of tangy lemon and crunchy poppy seeds.

Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, poppy seeds, and salt.

In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, oil, milk, lemon juice and zest.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, and stir until just combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let bread cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
