How To Make Cherry Almond Bread Recipe
A moist and flavorful bread filled with cherries and almond pieces.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 and 1/2 cups of flour
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of oil
- 1 tsp of almond extract
- 1 cup of fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
- 1/2 cup of sliced almonds
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, oil, and almond extract.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until well mixed.

Fold in cherries and sliced almonds.

Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.

Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let cool for 10 minutes and then remove from the pan.
