- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut it in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Make a well in the center of the mixture and pour in the buttermilk and honey.

Stir just until the dough comes together.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times.

Roll the dough out to about 1/2 inch thickness.
