Ingredients
- 1 loaf of French bread
- 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup of marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp of butter, melted
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and hollow out the center of each half, creating a bread bowl.

Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the inside of each bread bowl.

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the marinara sauce.

Place one half of the bread on top of the other, creating a sandwich.

In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Brush the butter mixture all over the top of the bread.

Wrap the bread tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Remove the foil and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top of the bread.

Return the bread to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let the bread cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Serve warm and enjoy!
