  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.

  3. Add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the bananas. Mix well.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.

  7. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  8. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely.

  9. Slice and serve.
