How To Make Smash Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheese
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard
Instructions

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into balls.

Preheat a griddle or a frying pan over medium-high heat.

Season each beef ball with salt and pepper.

Place a beef ball on the griddle and use a spatula to smash it flat, creating a thin patty.

Cook the patty for 2-3 minutes until it develops a crust. Flip it and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt.

Toast the burger buns on the griddle for a minute.

Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on the bottom bun and adding desired toppings.
