How To Make Shaved Beef and Rice Casserole Recipe
A comforting casserole made with tender shaved beef, rice, and warm spices.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb shaved beef
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add shaved beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened, about 3 minutes.

Add rice, thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper and stir to coat.

Add beef broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until rice is cooked.

Return beef to skillet and stir to combine.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve hot.
