Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through. Drain any excess fat.

Add the diced onion, carrots, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables start to soften.

Stir in the frozen peas, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes.

Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden and the filling is bubbling.

Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
