Ingredients

  • 400g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red chili pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

  3. Add minced garlic and sliced chili pepper. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.

  4. Add beef slices and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.

  6. Pour the oyster sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli. Stir well to coat evenly.

  7. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  9. Serve hot with steamed rice.
