Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
- 2 cups chopped vegetables (carrots, celery, onion)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions

In a slow cooker, combine beef, vegetables, beef broth, red wine, tomato paste, garlic, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.

Cover and cook on low heat for 6 hours.

In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water.

Stir cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker and cook for an additional 30 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
