A mouth-watering and hearty beef casserole that’s loaded with cheese and flavor!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, brown ground beef, onions, and garlic. Drain excess fat.

Add in diced tomatoes, beef broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

In a 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the cooked elbow macaroni, followed by the beef mixture, and shredded cheddar cheese.

Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 35-40 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
